  1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to www.scholarswithoutlimits.org (the “Site”), operated by Scholars Without Limits, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (“we,” “us,” “our”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Site.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Site. Your continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

  1. Use of the Site

2.1 Permitted Use

You may use the Site solely for lawful purposes related to our mission, including:

  • Learning about our programs and initiatives
  • Making donations
  • Volunteering or partnering with us
  • Contacting us for information or support

2.2 Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site in any way that violates any applicable federal, state, or local laws or regulations
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site or its systems

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, images, audio clips, videos, and software, is the property of Scholars Without Limits or its content suppliers and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or commercially exploit any content from the Site without our prior written permission, except as expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable law (e.g., fair use for noncommercial, educational purposes with proper attribution).

  1. User Submissions

If you submit content to the Site (e.g., comments, stories, photos, testimonials), you grant Scholars Without Limits a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, and irrevocable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such content in connection with our mission and promotional activities.

You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to any content you submit and that it does not violate these Terms or infringe on any third-party rights.

  1. Donations and Financial Transactions

By making a donation through the Site, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete payment information
  • Authorize us (and our payment processors) to charge the specified amount
  • Understand that donations are generally non-refundable except as required by law or at our discretion

We use third-party payment processors to handle donation transactions. Your use of these services is also subject to the processor’s terms and privacy policy.

  1. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

6.1 “As Is” Basis

The Site and all content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

6.2 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Scholars Without Limits shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Site
  • Any conduct or content of any third party on the Site
  • Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site shall not exceed the amount you paid to us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100 if you made no payment.

  1. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Scholars Without Limits, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Site.

  1. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of [Your State], without regard to its conflict of law principles.
